  • Technical errors will be corrected free of charge. Client-requested changes to their video will be charged at the prevailing daily edit rate. We will supply you with a preliminary edit for you to check before the final copy/copies are made. A charge will be made to correct any errors reported after the final copy is supplied.
  • We take pride in dedicating a lot of time and effort in our videos, and in order to effectively tell your story, we require full creative control in choosing the contents for the highlight and featured videos as well as the music selection. Please keep in mind that not all songs can be used due to copyright and legal terms. Rest assured, we’re good at finding beautiful and licensed music for your wedding video.

Bespoke Wedding Cakes

  • All our wedding cakes are bespoke and tailor-made to order.
  • You can choose one of the cakes directly from our portfolio, or use our ideas as inspiration for your own design.
  • If you decide to choose a design from our portfolio we can, if you desire, change colours and flowers to compliment any theme.
  • All Clients are recommended to have a consultation with our Bakers to ensure we can deliver to your expectations and that you are happy with your requirements. This can be done in person at our Studio or via email/phone. (Plus it gives us the opportunity to offer you a coffee and some cake to sample.  We are a bit proud of how moist and delicious our cakes taste and this give us a good excuse to show them off!)
  • We kindly ask for at least 3 months’ notice when ordering one of our wedding cakes.  During non-peak wedding season, we may be able to accept orders at shorter notice depending on our schedule.
  • We don’t like to turn anyone away so during the peak wedding season from May to September, we strongly suggest placing your order as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
  • Alternatively, you may consider reserving your chosen date with a £200 non-refundable holding deposit and decide on your design at a later date.
  • To confirm an order, a non-refundable deposit of £200 is required.  The balance is due 6 weeks before the delivery or collection of the cake.
  • Wedding cakes cannot be released for delivery or collection until full payment is received and cleared.
  • For orders with less than 6 weeks’ notice, the full payment is required on confirmation and is non-refundable.
  • All our wedding cakes and edible decorative elements are vegetarian, alcohol free and 100% halal.
  • Although most of our cakes do not contain nuts, we cannot guarantee that the ingredients that we use are not contaminated at source.  If you have a nut allergy, please contact us personally to discuss your requirements.
  • Please do not hesitate to contact us regarding any other special dietary requirements.
  • Travel charge is already included in your price.
  • Our service includes delivery and assembly of the cake at your venue.  As part of our delivery service, we will liaise with your wedding venue to schedule a delivery time and to check that all arrangements for assembly such as the cake stand and cake table have been taken care of.
  • Should you wish to collect your order from our studio, we will provide you with full assembly and storage instructions. Please note that once collected, the full responsibility for the safety of the cake is with the client and Events by Amara and our bakers are not liable for any damages thereafter.
  • Due to the amount of work that goes into each cake, we start making the decorative elements as far in advance as possible.  It would really help us if any design changes to your wedding cake are made no less than 6 weeks prior to completion.  If the alteration affects the cost then your balance will be adjusted accordingly.
  • Please confirm any changes to your order in writing or by email.
  • All payments are non-refundable.
  • If your cake design requires fresh flowers, these can be supplied by your florist or us.  We will liaise directly with your florist regarding the specific floral requirements and we will decorate the cake with the flowers on site.
  • Please note some flowers are not suitable for use as a cake decoration. Ask your florist for details regarding toxicity. We cannot be liable for any contamination to our food product that may arise from their misuse.
  • Please note that accessories such as brooches, ribbons, silk flowers, diamantes, beads and feathers that are used to decorate some of our Asian wedding cakes are not edible and must be removed from your cake before serving.  We will provide you with a list of any non-edible items on your cake.  Events by Amara and our bakers accept no responsibility for any physical harm that may arise from their use.
  • Where we have supplied a cake stand, a deposit of £80 will be required. This is held in your file until the stand is returned to us. We ask for stands to be returned within 14 days.
  • Gold or silver stands are often provided by your wedding venue.
